On October 16th, at 6:30pm, we hosted author Michael Kluckner at the Radium Community Centre.
Michael is a BC writer, artist and historian; some of his most popular works include Vanishing British Columbia and his 2015 graphic historical novel, Toshiko.
During his visit to Radium, Michael gave an illustrated talk on his latest graphic novel — Julia. This graphic biography profiles novelist, journalist, suffragist, explorer and WWI ambulance driver Julia Henshaw. Michael’s talk focused primarily on her travels in the Kootenays.
