Get Ready! Lego available during Library Hours (drop in)
Can you find this Little Library in Radium Hot Springs? Through partnerships, Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy (CBAL) built this “library”, the Village of Radium Hot Springs mounted this little library, and the Radium Hot Springs Public Library installed the initial selection of books. While the practice of take a book/leave a book contributes to sustaining such little libraries; if you do not have a book to leave – just take a book.
Please consider adding the Library to your annual donation list. Donations may be made by cheque to the Radium Hot Springs Public Library, and dropped off at the Library or the Radium Hot Springs Village Office.
To sustain long-term development, the Library has established an endowment fund. Donations may be made by cheque to the Columbia Valley Community Foundation or by an on-line donation through Canada Helps: http://valleyfoundation.ca/donate-now/
With the excitement of the new library space in the Radium Hot Springs Centre, we have received news that an anonymous donor would like to match, dollar-for-dollar, donations to the Radium Hot Springs Public Library Endowment Fund. The donor would like to see the endowment fund reach the threshold for granting to the library ($10,000). This is a wonderful opportunity to grow our fund and to begin providing monetary support for the Library’s programming. Please consider donating to the Endowment Fund this year to help us take advantage of this matching donation opportunity.
