In addition to our collection of books, we also have a Library of Things – a collection of objects available to Radium and Invermere Library cardholders.
Loanable Equipment
Bat Pack: Find some bats! We have one (1) bat pack available to borrow. With our new bat pack, you can locate and identify local bat populations. Each pack includes an echo meter (compatible with Android devices), identification guides, a real bat skeleton (so tiny!), and a backpack. Available to borrow from the library- come in and we’ll get you started!

Radon Testing Kit: We have one (1) radon testing kit available to borrow. Kit includes indoor radon test, informational pamphlets & directions. The Radon Library lending program is provided free to library patrons through support from Health Canada, the BC Lung Association, Simon Fraser University and the Kootenay Library Federation.
Loan Period: Four (4) weeks
Kids Outdoor Learning Kit: We have one (1) outdoor learning kit from the Outdoor Learning Store available to borrow. This kits contains identification pamphlets and tools for outdoor exploration.
Tech Hub
We have two (2) Kobo Ereaders available to borrow! This includes instructions for first time users, and gives you access to thousands of e-books available through the Radium Hot Springs Public Library.

- A Radium or Invermere Library Cardholder in good standing for a minimum of 6 months

Epson V39 Scanner: Scan photos and documents at home! We have (1) portable Epson V29 Scanner available to borrow.

Tech Hub Items- In-Library Use Only
We have a few tech items available for in-library use only.
Lenovo Chromebooks: We have three (3) Lenovo Chromebooks available for in-library use.

Epson V850 Scanner: We have one (1) Epson V850 Scanner available for in-library use. Digitally archive nearly any original including photographs, film and negatives.
