The Village of Radium Hot Springs was incorporated as a municipality on December 10, 1990. The Village is located in the gorgeous Columbia Valley, nestled between the Purcell Mountains and the Rockies and the gateway to beautiful Kootenay National Park. The Village is bordered by the Columbia River Wetlands, the largest continuous wetlands in North America.
Radium Hot Springs is home to 1,000 year-round residents, and many more residents from out of town make this their second home as often as they can.
Residents and visitors alike can enjoy a life-style second to none. With the Village Council’s commitment to making Radium a ‘walking town’, individuals can enjoy walking the many trails and paths located throughout the Village.
With golfing, skiing, hiking, white water rafting, canoeing, bird-watching, fishing, snowmobiling and many other activities available in and around the Village, it is easy to see why this four season Village is a favourite place to visit and especially to call HOME!
