Donations are always welcome. The Library welcomes gifts of money and in-kind material and supports that assist in the delivery of high quality service to the community. Donors will be issued tax-deductible receipts for gifts that fall within Canada Revenue Agency guidelines. We are grateful to those who consider making annual donations to the Library. Financial donations can be left at the Library or at the Village Office.
Donated Books and Material
Acceptance of donated material does not mean the Library will add the material to the collection. The Library will either sell books and materials not selected for addition to the collection at a Book Sale or dispose of them as the Library sees fit. We appreciate the donation of used books that sell in the Book Sales and in the Library.
A Legacy for Sustainability
Building for the Future: A Legacy for Sustainability
The Radium Hot Springs Public Library has established an endowment fund with the Columbia Valley Community Foundation to sustain its long-term development. The annual interest payments from the fund will enable the library to expand the services it offers to its Valley-wide patrons.
The “RHSPL Endowment Fund” will support the library’s programming and enhance its services. As the fund grows through donations and bequests from permanent and part-time residents and patrons, the library will be able to offer expanded programs and services. Donors can also make a donation in memory of a friend or relative.
In addition to monthly or annual financial donations, you can leave a charitable bequest donation in your Will to the Radium Hot Springs Public Library Endowment Fund.
Donors will receive a charitable receipt for income tax purposes.
Donations may be sent by cheque to the Columbia Valley Community Foundation or online at
